Every BIM project needs an Information Manager, to manage information exchanges, configure information and ensure suppliers ability to deliver information.
As part of the UK Governmen’s BIM Maturity Level 2, the client is in accordance with the PAS1192-2:2013 (Specification for Information Management for the Capital/Delivery Phase of Construction Projects using Building Information Modelling) and CIC BIM Protocol the client is required to appoint a party to undertake the role of Information Management at all project stages.
